Disney has revealed its first San Diego Comic-Con 2026 offsite experiences, and they're shaping up to be some of the convention's biggest attractions. Percy Jackson returns with an all-new immersive adventure inside a giant trident, packed with Season 3 Easter eggs, interactive quests, exclusive Camp Half-Blood merchandise, and photo opportunities. The experience will run Thursday 23 July (9:30am–7:00pm), Friday 24 July (10:30am–7:00pm), Saturday 25 July (9:30am–7:00pm), and Sunday 26 July (9:30am–5:00pm). 19 July 2001 is one of the most legendary release days in video game history. It was the day Final Fantasy X was first properly introduced to the world. I was in Europe, so I wouldn't get to play it until the following year, but I still remember booting it up for the first time. Hearing Otherworld over that incredible opening, followed by the Blitzball sequence, had me hooked from the very beginning. For full article head to Nerdgeist.com and for all your #SDCC news be sure to follow our resident San Diego Comic Con expert / boots on the ground reporter @imogenjones16 RIP Sam Neill you where one of us, even if separated by the globe #samneill #samneil #samneilledit #film #cinematography Sharing has always been about more than simply passing an object from one person to another. Psychology tells us that sharing builds trust, strengthens empathy, creates a sense of belonging, and helps forge lasting friendships. For many of us, lending a game to a friend wasn't just a way to save money—it was how we discovered new worlds, created lifelong memories, and built deeper connections with the people around us. Welcome to Part 4 of my series exploring how TTRPGs can benefit our mental health. We've already looked at using the Johari Window to discover more about ourselves and how tabletop role-playing games can act as a form of group therapy—even if we are only rolling ones. This week, we're exploring how TTRPGs can help us develop empathy, why empathy is such an important part of being human, and how role-playing lets us practise seeing the world through someone else's eyes. Full video live on our YouTube channel. Last week I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing the incredibly talented Hannah Hebblethwaite and this is part 1 of that delightful interview. In another baffling post online, writer, pundit, and man accused of domestic abuse, Jon Del Arroz once again proves that he not only doesn't know what he's talking about, but also seems determined to spread outrage for its own sake. RWBY fans finally have a reason to celebrate! After the heartbreaking closure of Rooster Teeth left the future of the beloved animated series in doubt, the Hunt is officially back on. Volume 10 has entered production, with the original main cast returning to announce the news. For many fans, it's proof that some stories refuse to stay buried.

MCM London Day 2: Mango Fanta, Metal Gear, Brandon Sanderson & The Dark Room
