A few months ago, I spoke about the collective comedy chaos that is It’s Your Role — London’s best and, to the best of my knowledge, only interactive Dungeons & Dragons show.

You may have seen groups like Critical Role, Oxventure and Natural Six, but what makes It’s Your Role unique is how they embrace the mayhem by bringing members of the audience — voluntarily, I should stress — into the game.
And for all you gorgeous goblins who don’t want to be front and centre, have no fear. It’s certainly not mandatory, and there are plenty of other opportunities for audience participation from the relative safety of your seat.
So why am I talking about It’s Your Role again?
Well, because they’re a lovely bunch of folks…
Oh, and they have a bunch of new announcements.
They have not one, not two, but THREE Avengers-level crossovers — at least within the UK live D&D scene.
First up, Tom Midgley of Roll From the Hip will be taking over the DM’s chair at the Arcanist Tavern in London on September 12.

Then, on October 10, Az Venture, creator of the Open Table system, takes the reins at Birmingham’s Old Joint Stock Theatre.
And last, but certainly not least, It’s Your Role is uniting with the most excellent Jasper William Cartwright, who will join them in London on October 18.

And this one has an extra little twist.
Instead of D&D, they’ll be playing 12-Sided Studios’ brand-new RPG, Force of Extinction — a game you all know I’m already a huge fan of.
So, if you’re in London — or Birmingham! — and fancy having your funny bone thoroughly tickled while watching some wonderfully unpredictable tabletop chaos unfold, I highly recommend checking these jovial jesters out.
And, who knows?
Maybe it’ll be your role.
