Hosted by Nitrate Games and Sassy Chap Games, the Blunt Objects party held to celebrate the announcement of new game Jay and Silent Bob’s Venture was the perfect ending to Saturday at San Diego Comic Con.

Announced by Kevin Smith at his annual Hall H panel, Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture will be a cozy farm sim game that gives fans the chance to play as the beloved cult classic characters as they transform a rundown backyard into a thriving operation. Players will also be able to explore iconic locations like Mooby’s and RST Video within the game. The game is currently planned for release on Steam in 2027 by indie video game company Nitrate Games. Nitrate Games is the brainchild of Daniel Kendrick, Montana Sommese and Nick Madonna.

Party goers were lucky enough to get a first look at the game, all whilst enjoying an open bar with specialised drinks, and delicious light bites.

A fun atmosphere, an abundance of Jay and Silent Bob cosplayers, and a great music selection that got people dancing made the Blunt Objects party a roaring success.

And at the end of the night, they won the award for best swag of Comic Con as they handed out bags of goodies to attendees which included an action figure, stickers, comics, and a PS5 or Switch video game.

Stay tuned for more updates on Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture release!
