
HBO Max is going all out for Halloween 2026. Yesterday, they launched their own dedicated Halloween collection that brings together the streamer’s best horror programming. Entitled “Horror Comes Home”, viewers will be able to enjoy exciting new releases, blockbuster franchises, highly acclaimed exclusive films and series, and of course the classics.
Throughout October, HBO Max will continue to serve up thrills and scares to audiences. New releases include the latest instalment in the Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead Burn, which debuts today and HBO Original Documentary series “The Pet Cemetery Murders: A Ghost Story” which premieres on the 11th October.
Beyond the month’s newest arrivals, HBO Max will offer audiences access to a diverse lineup of horror films spanning all eras of the genre. The collection includes modern hits like Weapons, Sinners, Trap, Bring Her Back, Midsommar, Hereditary, and iconic franchise favorites from the universes of The Conjuring, Final Destination, It, Insidious, Blair Witch, and The Strangers. Viewers can also rediscover legendary horror classics including Carrie, The Exorcist, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist, Gremlins, and The Shining.
To help fans decide what to watch, HBO Max’s “Horror Comes Home” Halloween hub is spotlighting a variety of specially curated collections and refreshed artwork throughout the month. Programming options include “Horror Comes Home,” “Trick or Treat,” “Must-Scream Horror,” “A Killer Movie Marathon,””Haunted Hall of Fame,” “Creature Features,” and “What’s Around The Corner”.
Finally , horror aficionados can now tune into a new virtual channel, “Essential Horror,” which features a curated mix of series and films from the HBO Max horror catalog.
