In Baldur’s Gate 3, many players met the Githyanki for the first time through Lae’zel — disciplined, aggressive, and utterly uncompromising. But the Githyanki are more than psychic warriors riding red dragons. In this video, we explore how their history of enslavement by mind flayers, systemic violation, and violent rebellion shaped them into a civilisation built on control, hierarchy, and perpetual readiness for war. Through the lens of psychology, we examine how trauma can crystallise into doctrine — turning survival mechanisms into cultural identity. #baldursgate #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #dnd #gaming Happy Pokemon Day #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #dndhomebrew #ttrpg #gaming Roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons are often dismissed as escapism, but long-term players know something deeper is happening. People don’t just create characters — they reveal themselves through them. Patterns emerge over time: who takes responsibility under pressure, who protects others, who avoids conflict, who craves control. These aren’t random role choices; they’re expressions of identity filtered through fiction. The Johari Window, a model of self-awareness, helps explain this. It divides the self into four areas: what we know and share (Open), what others see but we don’t (Blind), what we hide (Hidden), and what remains undiscovered (Unknown). #dungeonsanddragons #dungeonsanddragons5e #dndmeme #dnd #ttrpgs #dndgram #dndtok #gamesnight #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpgs #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #dungeonsanddragons5e #gaming #ttrpg #dnd #dungeonsanddragonsminiatures #dungeonsanddragons5e #ttrpgmemes #ttrpgfamily
