Let’s turn back time to 2006. Twitter Launch had just launched, Pluto Demotion had everyone arguing about planets, and Heroes and Dexter were taking over our televisions. But in cinemas, audiences were being treated to Slither, James Gunn’s gloriously disgusting sci-fi horror comedy.

Slither stars Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity), Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games), and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy). The film also marked James Gunn’s directorial debut. Fillion plays a small-town sheriff with all the charm and wit you’d expect from Nathan Fillion, as he faces an alien invasion that makes The Thing look almost family friendly by comparison.

Now, for the first time ever, Slither is arriving in 4K, restored from the original 35mm interpositive and approved by James Gunn and Director of Photography Gregory Middleton.
Released just in time for the film’s 20th anniversary, this special edition is packed with extras, including:

UK-exclusive Steelbook artwork by artist Chris Malbon, plus a collectible poster
NEW 4K Dolby Vision presentation approved by James Gunn and Gregory Middleton

Extras include:
