Hulu Animayhem Offsite SDCC 2026 Review

Hulu Animayhem has become a strong staple at San Diego Comic Con, each year bringing fans interactive experiences, cool photos, and exclusive swag.

For Comic Con 2026, they returned to highlight two of their most beloved shows: Futurama, and King of the Hill.

There were more photo opportunities than ever for fans to enjoy, as well as lots of tasty treats.

Attendees’ first stop was Planet Espresso where they had a plethora of caffeinated drinks to choose from, with the lavender latte being both a visual and taste standout.

And as the perfect complement to some coffee, guests could also enjoy donut holes.

Entertainment came in the form of a King of the Hill themed cornhole toss where fans could step up to compete with each other.

Following a challenging game, guests were able to pick up some Hulu swag with either Futurama or King of the Hill hats being offered.

And after all that, attendees were treated to another meal at Robata Chane who were serving up hearty meals of meat (and veggie options) and rice.

This year’s Animayhem felt a little smaller in scale especially in regard to interactive experiences which we could’ve used more of. However, its move from its usual location to a smaller space may be the reason for that. Plus, San Diego Comic Con is a time consuming event where many fans skip meals in order to see panels, buy exclusives, get autographs, etc. so an offsite that provides good food (and a lot of it) is welcome. And that’s exactly what Animayhem did this year – giving hungry nerds sustenance to go about their day while getting to enjoy the theming of their favourite Hulu shows. We can’t wait to see what culinary delights they bring next time!
