In 2025, Disney delivered one of the best offsites at SDCC with their Percy Jackson experience so they had big shoes to fill this year when they announced another Percy Jackson themed activation.

This year, guests were invited to step inside a titan-sized trident embarking on a journey of their choosing with Percy, Annabeth, or Thalia, on a quest to defeat the evil Titans. Once attendees had made their choice, they were given a scroll explaining their mission, and a keepsake wristband.

For those who chose Percy, they were led through a cave where they were challenged to harness the power of the waterfall to move forward in their quest.

Once past the waterfall, guests were placed the in the Percy universe and instructed to use different motions to control water. This was then turned into an incredibly cool video fans could have sent to themselves.

To end the experience, attendees were given themed swag. We were given pins but others reported getting umbrellas.

While we would have liked the experience to be a little longer, and more interactive, the immersion element was top tier. Clearly a lot of thought and work went into the design of the offsite, and they really nailed the Percy Jackson universe which fans loved! A brilliant offsite experience and here’s hoping Disney brings back Percy Jackson for a third time in 2027!
