For the past two years HBO Max have been responsible for the most fun and immersive offsites at San Diego Comic Con. Fresh off the success of last year’s Peacefest, HBO Max have decided to bring not one but two offsites for fans to enjoy.

First up, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will be taking over Sparks Gallery on 6th Ave. Guests will be invited into the series’ expanding multiverse. The activation brings Stuart’s “Comic Center of Pasadena” to life as a portal-hopping journey, featuring interactive moments, photo ops with a replica machine from the show, exclusive merch, a personalized collectible takeaway, and more. Hours are:

• Friday, July 24: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Saturday, July 25: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Sunday, July 26: 11:00am – 3:00pm

Next up is the main event, the Lanterns Training Headquarters which is taking place at Venue 808. Inspired by the world of Lanterns, the activation unfolds as a guided training journey where guests are evaluated through a series of interactive challenges designed to determine if they have what it takes to wear the ring. Along the way, participants will navigate in-world environments, test their skills through hands-on missions, and uncover mysteries hidden throughout Rushville, Nebraska. The experience culminates with select recruits earning a custom ring to take home and the opportunity to purchase exclusive Lanterns merchandise.
