Netflix are going hard with this one. It see’s a young film makers dreams turn to horror as she is assaulted by an utter bastard. This in turn leads her to seek revenge in a dark and brutal fashion, one that has repercussions that she is not quite ready for.

Based on the novel of the same name this film has a pretty sold cast with Rosa Salazar, Catherine Keener, Eric Lange, Manny Jacinto and Jeff Ward all in starring roles. 

This looks to be as much body horror as it is psychological horror and the story may be going in the direction of the hero becomes the villain which is a bold choice. I for one will be watching it because when it comes to stories like this Netflix are never one to drop the ball and so far I have enjoyed everything that Rosa Salazar has done in her career so my faith for this miniseries is high.
