You ask the average person to name one Scottish historical figure and most people will say William Wallace, probably only knowing him from the Mel Gibson movie, but Scotland has many national heroes worth celebrating, one of which is Robert The Bruce.  If the name sounds familiar it is because he appeared in Braveheart, but that film get’s a lot about him wrong. He was a near legendary warrior and the man who gained Scotland its prestige back and to this day is looked back on with fondness.

Netflix is to bring us Outlaw King which will be there retelling of the story of Robert The Bruce and surprisingly has Chris Pine in the lead role. The film looks stunning in its scale and promises us an epic thrill ride. Due out in November I find myself waiting with anticipation. If your looking for a medieval action packed movie with plenty of intrigue then this will be for you.
