Will Arnett To Host ‘Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con’

Now isn’t this possibly the most exciting Comic-Con related news today? Well it is up there along with James Gunn’s announcement through social media that he, Chris Pratt and other cast members of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 would be heading to San Diego Comic-Con International 2016.


Syfy have managed to find a brilliant host for their new show ‘Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con,’ with Will Arnett. He’s a comedic genius and having him as a host will make sure that Syfy’s new live shows from Comic-Con will be hugely entertaining. Not only would he be an entertaining host but he would also be a great interviewer, any celebrities he interviews at Comic-Con will surely be in stitches before they can even properly answer any of his questions.

So what made Will Arnett accept the hosting job? Well he had this to say “Comic-Con is the one time of the year when all nerds can set aside their personal opinions and focus on their petty differences. I wanna be there for that… cause I’m Batman.”

Now that Will Arnett has officially been announced as the host for ‘Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con,’it surely will make getting hold of a ticket for the live tapings all the more coveted.

In order to attend, you must be a badge holder for Comic-Con.

You must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid government issued ID to be admitted. Anyone who is 16 or 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years of age or older.


What is Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con?

Syfy will invade the world’s largest pop culture convention this summer with SYFY PRESENTS LIVE FROM COMIC-CON, a three-night telecast directly from the heart of San Diego Comic-Con. The special – Syfy’s first-ever live broadcast from Comic-Con – will air on the network Thursday, July 21 through Saturday, July 23 at 8/7c.

Each night, SYFY PRESENTS LIVE FROM COMIC-CON will bring the Con’s non-stop action directly to viewers across the country, featuring celebrity interviews, breaking news and behind-the-scenes reports. The hosted live broadcast will highlight the biggest stars, top franchise reveals, panel news, exclusive sneak peeks of the hottest films, as well as audience interaction, games, party coverage and much more.

“For nearly two decades, Syfy has been a mainstay at Comic-Con,” said Chris McCumber, President, Entertainment Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “Each and every year, we can’t wait to get to San Diego to share our mutual fandom and passion for all things pop culture with our viewers. And this year, we’re thrilled to extend that immediate, first-hand access to those at home as well.”

“Our goal with SYFY PRESENTS LIVE FROM COMIC-CON is to give everyone the experience of being on the convention floor, at the events, or just walking through the frenzied streets of the Gaslamp District … with hundreds of thousands of their closest friends,” said Heather Olander, Senior Vice President, Alternative Series, Development and Production, Syfy.

In addition, starting Sunday, July 17, Syfy will kick off a Comic-Con celebration on-air, online and across its social media platforms, offering fans customized, exclusive content to fuel their excitement throughout the entire week. SYFY’S 7 DAYS OF COMIC-CON will start Sunday, July 17 and continue through the 23rd.
