The San Diego Convention Center may be jammed packed every summer with the annual San Diego Comic Con International , however for those who did or didn’t manage to get tickets there is still plenty of events to see and do outside the Convention Center. Below is my guide to the outside events happening this year, please check back as this will be updated regularly as and when more information is released.

Event: Adult Swim Fun House

The Fun House is a ticketed event– they’ll be distributed at noon each day it’s open, and like the signings, it’s first come first served.

The Assassin’s Creed Experience allows fans the opportunity to become a Master Assassin and try free-running techniques such as rolling and vaulting, including a separate 25-foot “Leap of Faith.” Fans who complete the course will receive a free limited edition Assassin’s Creed Experience T-shirt (while supplies last) and bragging rights.
The latest single-player demo of Assassin’s Creed Unity, showcasing the new hero, setting and features will also be shown at the Assassin’s Creed Experience. Additionally, consumers who pre-order the game on-site will receive a free Assassin’s Creed guillotine T-shirt (while supplies last).
Additionally, Assassin’s Creed is teaming up with Schick Hydro for the second year in a row to extend the Schick Hydro Challenge to Assassin’s Creed fans and help them discover a shave so smooth it could start a revolution. Attendees visiting the Assassin’s Creed Experience can get a free, customized shave by professional barbers and French-Revolutionary-inspired swag to inspire their sharpest selfies yet. For the duration of the Assassin’s Creed Experience, Schick will offer shaves with the cutting edge Schick Hydro 5 razor, along with giveaways and prizes.
Event: Blacklist

The Blacklist is taking over the Tin Fish restaurant across from the Convention Center, where fans will be able to get on “The Blacklist” via a custom photo opportunity and also receive The Blacklist swag.
Event: Borderlands Laser Quest

Time: 11AM to 5PM daily (They will be running 3 games per hour)
Cost: Anyone is welcome to come and hang out, but those of you with a San Diego Comic-Con 2014 badge will get priority access.
They will also have a moon-ready oxygen bar, a stage with live performances, interviews, tapings of Nerdist News with Jessica Chobot, and flash mobs roving the streets to bust out their best Moon Dance, but you can also fire lasers at fan favorites like Chris Hardwick and other very special guests (like Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox).

Event: Gam3rCon

Gam3rCon announced that it is joining forces with the Geekie Awards and their team to launch another year of “affordable, family friendly convention for gamers, geeks, and industry professionals”. Attendees will be retreated to an old-school Retrocade, a community Tabletop Gaming Lounge, panels from industry insiders, a video game arena, geek-themed theatre, artwork based on beloved game series, rooftop parties, concerts, and much more.
Tickets are still available to the convention, ranging from $50 for a week-long pass to all four days of Gam3rCon, to $20 for a one-day pass. Children under the age of 12 can get a week-long pass for $30, or a day pass for $10.

This is the third consecutive year that Geek & Sundry will host a fan-dedicated event, which will be open starting at 10am on Thursday July 24th and Friday July 25th 2014 and will be located at Jolt n Joe’s on 4th and J Street in the Gaslamp Quarter, a block away from the convention center. Fans can expect to meet their favorite stars including Felicia, TableTop’s Wil Wheaton and other surprise guests from the network as well as check out new game first-look previews and geek experiences, not available anywhere else.
Plus, you can visit their merchandise table to find out how to win one of their 200 exclusive Comic-Con Loot Crates.

Fox will recreate the pilot’s iconic police cars to pick up passengers throughout the convention weekend for free rides. Cars will be outfitted with iPads offering sneak previews of “Gotham” content.
For the fans afoot at SDCC who are UBER users, specially-designed GOTHAM police cars will hit the San Diego streets to pick up passengers throughout the convention weekend – for free – via the UBER app, by selecting GOTHAM PD on the UBER “slider.”
Those fans who are new to UBER and who sign up for the app using the code GOTHAMPD will get a free first ride up to $30, wherever UBER is available.

This premiere event is scheduled to take place during the convention, July 24th, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego just a few minutes’ walk from the San Diego Convention Center. Event: Sin City 2: The Sin City: A Dame To Kill For exhibit

To promote the film, Dimension will be bringing out six of the classic cars from the film, including a 1985 Dodge Diplomat, a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, a 1960 Chevy Corvette, a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado, a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustand Convertible, and a 1949 Cadillac Sedanette. Fans will also be take Sin City style photo booth photographs and try for a chance at giveaways, which include Sin City branded t-shirts, poker chips, playing cards, and books.
The show will also exhibit LED TV screens showing the trailer and other content from the film, as well as a DJ providing Sin City music. The activation will have daily contests, giveaways and promotions, and a wall around the exhibit that features daily work by local street graffiti artists. In addition, there will be a green screen set up for attendees to photograph themselves into the movie.
There will also be signings, with more information still to be announced.
Event: “Sleepy Hollow” Virtual Reality Experience

Inside the “Sleepy Hollow” bridge fans will be transported via an Oculus Rift headset into a virtual reality “Sleepy Hollow” experience and chased by a headless horseman. This virtual reality installation transports the user deep into the heart of Sleepy Hollow where the fans receive an ominous warning from Ichabod Crane and then a terrifying encounter with the Headless Horseman. Participants will receive a personalized, souvenir image to share across their social media pages.

Event: Strain Screening Special event

FX Networks is hosting a screening of the first two episodes.
Guests to the event will be treated to “an exclusive, never before seen, sneak peek of the next unaired episode”, and receive free food and drinks. There will also be giveaways, one of a kind props, costumes, and devices from the series on hand.
To attend, you’ll need to visit the FOX booth (#4229), the Harper Collins booth (#1029) and the Dark Horse booth (#2615) to pick up a special The Strain wristband from each. The three wristbands must be picked up on Friday or Saturday from 1PM-4PM. Once you have all three wristbands, you can head to the theater on Saturday.

Paramount Pictures will be providing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles experience where guests can relax and watch the film’s trailer in the Turtle Lair Lounge, have their photo taken in the custom branded photo booth and receive a TMNT photo takeaway as well as instantly upload their pictures to their social media sites. Additionally, guests will have the chance to participate in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Pizza Hut interactive game.

Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at VIKINGS and have a starring role in their own custom video that can be shared on social media. From the moment fans enter the “back-lot” they will be treated as cast members. Upon entering, guests will create a character profile and choose a weapon of choice. Next, they will meet with hair and make-up artists to become transformed into a fierce Viking and be placed into three scenes complete with Vikings ships, battles, axes and villages. When fans have completed the experience they will have a 30 video to share via Twitter, Facebook or Vine.
Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Clive Standen (Rollo) and Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn) will make an appearance on Friday 25th July from 1 – 2 pm at 450 2nd Ave. to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
