Fandom party makes its return to SDCC 2022

The world’s largest fan platform Fandom returns to Comic Con after a 3-year hiatus bringing their annual party that is a favourite amongst attendees. Taking place from 7pm-11pm on Thursday 21stJuly at Float at the Hard Rock Hotel, this is sure to be one of the hottest and most hard to get tickets.

This year they will partner up with Paramount+, Z2 Comics and Pinfinity. Josh Bernstein (CBO of Z2) is excited for everyone to see what they have in store saying “Z2 is where culture and comics meet so who better to partner with at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con but the incredible teams at Fandom and Paramount+”.

Guests will be able to dive into popular franchises such as Star Trek, Halo, and Beavis & Butt-Head. There will be Fandom & Paramount+ interactive photo booths where fans can share their photos, and have them streamed on the party’s giant LED screen in a digital mosaic. Attendees will be able to quench their thirst at the Halo themed bar with drinks inspired by the series. Wristbands will be a thing of the past and instead guests will receive a custom collectible event lanyard and Pinfinity pin, which will unlock an augmented reality experience that they can enjoy all year round.

“There is no better place to come together and celebrate your fandoms than San Diego Comic-Con and we’re excited to finally bring back this immersive experience,” said Perkins Miller, CEO of Fandom. “Being back together in person with fans, creators and partners is a true fan homecoming.”

No word on when or how tickets will drop but in previous years they’ve been released randomly online and been first come/first serve.
