The game is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the reveal, Capcom said of the story, “Ethan’s world suddenly comes crashing down once again when he has to head to Europe to search for his missing daughter. Fans will be glad to see a familiar face in the form of Chris Redfield which will set off a near catastrophic chain of events that will be leave your heart pounding in this horrific adventure.

The atmosphere looks utterly terrifying, I do not know about you guys but there is something about be alone in snow filled forest that just sends chills up my spine. But as terrifying as the world is, it does look beautiful and this may be the first Resident Evil game in a long time that I cannot help but be compelled to play.
