San Diego Comic-Con just wouldn’t be the same without the parties, it’s the main reason many celebrities and industry personel head out there. What better way to mingle and network than at an exclusive party at the biggest convention in America?
Playboy and Gramercy Pictures will throw the most talked-about party during Comic-Con weekend as they celebrate the new science fiction thriller Self/less (in theaters nationwide Friday, July 10) at San Diego’s Parq Restaurant & Nightclub. Upon arrival, VIP guests will walk through a lab experience inspired by the movie before entering the venue’s nightclub where they’ll be encouraged to “take on a new identity” for the evening and live the “billionaire lifestyle” seen in Self/less. The exclusive event will also feature 6 Playboy Playmates in Bunny Costume; an interactive lab-themed photo booth; Cirque du Soleil style aerialists; cocktails by Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and beer by Devassa by Playboy.
Celebrities expected to attend include: Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”), Ian Somerhalder (“The Vampire Diaries”), Paul Wesley (“The Vampire Diaries”), Wilmer Valderrama (“Minority Report”), Candice Accola (“The Vampire Diaries”), Kat Graham (“The Vampire Diaries”), Ashley Madekwe (“Salem”), Blake Anderson (“Workaholics”), Josh Dallas (“Once Upon a Time”), Anders Holm (“Workaholics”).
Expect the celebrities to be attending this event to be a much longer list, they came in busloads at last year’s event and you know it’s a party worth going to if even they are willing to queue to get in.

With an already beautifully decorated interior and mouthwatering menu on offer as well as a great selection of drinks on offer, this will be one intimate yet amazing party. With it being in an indoor venue this year, invited guests won’t have to worry about a possible early shutdown like last year.
If you aren’t one of the lucky few to be invited to this party, fear not there are some VIP tickets for sale if you have at least $550.70 to spare after spending your money on convention exclusives. To purchase click here.
In this provocative psychological science fiction thriller, an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body’s origin and the organization that will kill to protect its cause.
