PLEASE NOTE: Standby tickets are NOT guaranteed tickets. You will fill in any empty seats we have available just before show time and most of these seats will be single seats throughout the theater.

For Standby Tickets, come to the Spreckels Theater Box Office at 8am on the morning of the taping you’d like to attend and join the main line of reservation holders. (July 8th-July 11th). The line will be forming around the corner from the box office (969 1st Ave, San Diego, CA 92101). At 8am, a member of our staff will distribute numbered wristbands to anyone in the main ticket line that does not have a reservation. You will be given a location and time to return by to see if you’ll be getting in to the show.

Assassin’s Creed Experience

For the third year in a row, Schick Hydro is partnering with Assassin’s Creed at San Diego Comic Con July 9-12. Game of Thrones: Experience the Realm

This year’s experience will allow fans to step into the world of Westeros by featuring installations such as the chance to use a replica of Arya Stark’s wooden training sword to strike targets as they appear on a 10-foot projection screen. Afterwards, you’ll also receive an artistic portrait made entirely of your sword strikes, that you can share on social media. Attendees will also have the chance to create sharable animated GIFs including being incinerated into ash by Danaerys’ iconic dragons and turned into a WhiteWalker, and to participate in photo opportunity with the Iron Throne and the giant sword used by The Mountain. Select costume displays from Game of Thrones will be featured along with a gallery of select work from the Game of Thrones Compendium Book, featuring original creations from the talented fan-base ranging from art, fashion, food and fans can pick up a limited-edition T-Shirt designed by Beautiful Death artist Robert Ball.

NBC’s World of Heroes Reborn and Blindspot

Where: Gaslamp Square, Fifth Ave. and Harbor Drive Cost: Free
Heroes Reborn takes over Gaslamp Square with a first of its kind 4-D interactive experience where fans will have the opportunity to access their own extraordinary pyro-kinetic ability.  Fans will also be able to take an animated “heroic” photo and tour through a Heroes gallery featuring iconic props from the previous series.

Attendees can also discover Blindspot at Tin Fish restaurant in Gaslamp Square. They will be able to receive both temporary tattoo sleeves and partake in a photo op where their head will be placed on a tattooed body, similar to the character of Jane Doe in the new NBC drama. Also, throughout the Gaslamp District, fans can go on a scavenger hunt to search for and find the Jane Doe look-alikes. Once found fans can text “Blindspot” to a number tattooed on her body and receive the next step to enter for a chance to win $1,000.

Scream Queens Mega Scream Drop– Petco Interactive Zone

“Fox’s Scream Queens is taking Comic-Con by storm.

The upcoming horror comedy anthology will feature a customized ride at the Petco Interactive Zone called the Mega Scream Drop that will drop fans 120 feet while capturing their screams with social media sharable GIFs.

The ride will be open Thursday-Sunday (July 9-12) from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. The Kappa House Sorority girls and their fraternity boyfriends (like those depicted on the upcoming series from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk) will be manning the ride and passing out branded premium items.”

“Additionally, branded ice cream carts will distribute free scoops outside of the convention center and throughout downtown San Diego Thursday-Sunday.”

Vikings

Fans of the series will be able to conquer Comic-Con aboard a Vikings Longship, a San Diego Seal Boat that’s been transformed, which will be driving through Downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter, and sailing the harbor. The boat will offer free stops at select Gaslamp locations (TBA), and fans will also receive a Vikings Drinking Horn after their rides. Select fans will even have a chance to win a sunset cruise aboard the Longship with the cast of Vikings.

Nerdist Podcast 2015 & Chris Hardwick Funcomfortable Tour

Chris Hardwick is everywhere at San Diego Comic-Con. Whether he’s hosting the big Hall H panel – or last year, panels – or putting on a live show, he either never sleeps, or has perfected the science of cloning and just isn’t sharing yet.  Either way, fans of Mr. Nerdist himself will be seeing him again in San Diego, as he just announced two shows at the Balboa Theater during SDCC.

The first will be his live stand-up show, The Funcomfortable Tour, that’s already been touring the US. Fans of Hardwick can head over to the Balboa Theatre on Friday, July 10, for the 7:30PM show to catch him in person.

For those who prefer Hardwick in more of a moderator role, just like the last few years, he’ll also be bringing his popular Nerdist Podcast Live! show back to Comic-Con as well. Hardick, as well as his friends and co-hosts Jonah Ray and Matt Mira, will delight fans on Saturday, July 11, at 7:30PM and 10.30pm at the Balboa Theatre.
