Pokemon fans who cannot get enough will be delighted to hear that Nintendo has announced a new expansion pass for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Details are not all confirmed but we have been told that over 200 more Pokemon are to be added to this new expansion.
Game Freak will also continue to release free updates, including one that will allow link trades and Pokémon Home integration.
New Pokemon and two new areas to visit. The first up is the The Isle of Armor, which is due out in June 2020, and Crown Tundra, which will follow in Autumn 2020.
-
The Isle of Armor will feature
-
new clothes
-
new rivals,
-
and new Pokémon such as like the legendary Pokémon Kubfu.
And your starter will be able to Gigantamax. There are also what appear to be Gigantamax forms of evolved Generation 1 starters Venusaur and Blastoise, which makes up having only Charizard – who is obviously the best.
Over on the The Crown Tundra you will be visiting a remote, frozen outpost and is focused on exploration. It’s further out than The Isle of Armor, but we do know that it also comes with a legendary Pokémon, Calyrex, and a new form of co-op play, where players can explore Pokémon dens with other players.
Expansion passes will be available for pre-purchase for $29.99 today.
