First off it appears that the Band have changed their name to Band-Maiko. Two things of note:

A Maiko is an apprentice geisha in Kyoto and Western Japan. Their jobs consist of performing songs, dances, and playing the shamisen or other traditional Japanese instruments for visitors during ozashiki.
To mark this occasion the band have released a new single – MAIKO lips. If that name sounds familar, it is because this song is a traditional Japanese style arrangement of BAND-MAID’s secret My lips.Â
They didn’t just stop at the song, the band went all out with the lyrics being changed into the Kyoto dialect and the video seemed to be filmed in and around Kyoto too.
In case you are wondering why Kyoto, well it is because this former imperial capital is famous for it’s Geisha. Strangely enough we where there a few months ago and it is a truly magical city, really worth seeing.
