The Gifted is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2017

Woo-hoo, the series I’m looking to forward the most out of all the new series starting this fall is 20th Century Fox/Marvel’s X-Men series The Gifted. Then again I could be biased as I’ve been a fan of the X-Men since I was a child. I loved the films, the cartoons and the comics, well except The Last Stand and Apocalypse. I’m looking forward to this promising new series especially since Bryan Singer is involved, he did a great job with X-Men, X-2, First Class and Days of Future past and of course the other Marvel’s X-Men series Legion.

The series follows a suburban couple (Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker) whose ordinary lives are rocked by the discovery that their children are mutants. The government is after their kids, and the family links up with an underground network of supernatural-powered people for their survival. Cast and EPs will be on hand for a first look of this series debuting in September. Written by Matt Nix directed by Bryan Singer, and executive-produced by Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont , Blair Redford , Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White.

Fox will be bringing The Gifted to San Diego Comic-Con 2017. The panel will be on Friday 21st July from 3:45 – 4:45PM in Ballroom 20. Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White are confirmed for the panel.
