Marvel Studios will be heading to San Diego Comic-Con International 2017

Marvel fans heading to San Diego Comic-Con International this summer can breathe a sigh of relief with the knowledge that Marvel Studios will be there. When the dates was announced for D23 Expo 2017 (14-16 July 2017), many questioned if Marvel Studios would skip San Diego Comic-Con again this year especially since D23 was happening the weekend before Comic-Con 2017 (19-23 July 2017). However Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed to a group of reporters, who visited the Marvel headquarters recently, that Marvel Studios will return to San Diego Comic-Con this year.

While we can only speculate what Marvel Studios will bring and show at both D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con, at least we know what films they could be promoting which include Thor: Ragnarok (November 2017), Black Panther (February 2018), Avengers: Infinity War (May 2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 2018). I’m hoping they save Thor: Ragnarok announcements for San Diego Comic-Con 2017, as it would be nice if they bought out Tom Hiddleston dressed as Loki again to address the Hall H crowd just like he did during San Diego Comic-Con 2013. I guess I’m secretly hoping for this namely because the one year I didn’t attend Comic-Con since 2012, I missed Loki attending Comic-Con but I will be there this time if it does happen again. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this one. Who knows maybe even Chris Hemsworth could join him on stage dressed up as Thor.
