Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink #4 (OF 6) Comic Book Review

This series is coming to its end and what a ride its been. We have seen some of our favourite heroes come back and found out what happens to the old Zords and what a retired ranger does in their spare time. We for the first time in the series see the old adage of the enemy of my enemy is my friend where three of the original rangers, their new allies, a defective minion and Goldar are forced to ally in a battle to save a small French town from being overrun by a monster so powerful that he may single-handedly conquer the world.

If you’re a fan of the original series I cannot stress how great this series has been especially since the majority of it has been more Die Hard than Super Sentai, with Kimberly picking her way through her new European home trying to avoid detection while taking out as many bad guys as possible. Which I must say is a nice change to the format though I am kind of glad that it’s not over because now we are onto giant robots and monsters going at it and my God it’s epic.

As comic book series go this is a pretty good story and I have enjoyed every issue. If you’re a Power Rangers fan who is looking forward to the new film then this will be the book series for you, it will help tie you over untill the movie comes out in 2017. Writers Brenden Fletcher,  Kelly Thompson, & Tini Howard have truly outdone themselves.
