The world of video games has evolved much these past few years but for me some of the earliest and best memories of gaming are in Dungeon Crawler. Dungeon Crawler kept me occupied and let me visit self contained worlds were I got to be the hero. At Web Summit we were introduced to a new game called Haunted.
Haunted is a game that involves puzzles, it’s fun, family friendly and a great breath of fresh air for any gamer out there. In fact the character you play is inspired by Indiana Jones. If you like what you read here check out this unique strategy made by its creators which focuses more on resource development and diplomacy than the old school violence other games need.
At the Web Summit we had the opportunity to interview Kimo Boissonnier, CEO and Co-Founder of Tuliotus, about his game Haunted.
It looks like it’s a Dungeon Crawler game, would I be correct in saying that?
It looks like Dungeon Crawler but at its heart it’s a puzzel adventure game
What has been your biggest influences in this game?
No game specifically influenced us but we are huge fans of the old school type dungeon games, maybe some of the dungeons in later Zelda games would be similar.
But this game is more unique?
Yes, yes it is. This game is based on tight mechanics that can evolve into complex problems
Looking at the game, I can see it would appeal to all ages
Again yes, there is no blood shed so it’s suitable for everyone, the only challenge is exploring the whole dungeon so you can get all the treasure.
If someone wanted to play your game where could they obtain it?
Currently you can find it on the windows phone store for free, with no advertisements, further to that we are currently moving it to the windows 8 store so it will run on tablets and PCs.
Are you planning on moving away from windows or will you stay exclusive with it?
During 2015 we are going to launch on Andriod and IOS.
How is investment going so far?
We are currently looking at various possibilities now that we have released our second game.
If any of our readers want to get in touch with you about investing how would they go about doing it?
They can just contact us via our email contact@tuliotus.com
The boys at Tuliotus are really pushing for a unique idea; games where brains beat brawn, games where peace is more important than war, these are unique ideas and you may think that the games sound lame but really they are not, they give a unique but fun perspective that is really worth a try.
