In partnership with new game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, IGN invaded the Hard Rock Hotel rooftop to host a spectacular party on the Friday night of Comic Con.

Armored Core VI is a mecha-based vehicular combat game in which players pilot mechs called Armored Cores, which can be customized using parts to upgrade and fine-tune their power. It will be released on August 25th.

In keeping with the theme of the game, party goers were invited to participate in a scavenger hunt and visit different activations involving lawn games and photo ops to collect stickers that would help them create their own mech on the lanyard given to each attendee. Once the mech was completed, guests would get a raffle ticket to be entered into a draw where they could win prizes including bluetooth speakers, portable chargers and Nanoleaf light kits.

The scavenger hunt made for excellent entertainment and there was a range of games on offer including Giant Jenga, Cornhole and Giant Connect 4.

To add to the fun, there was a DJ who got everyone dancing, as well as appetisers and an open bar serving special cocktails. It was a fantastic atmosphere and attendees seemed to be having a great time.

IGN always deliver a good party and this years seemed like its best one yet. We look forward to seeing what they bring in 2024!
