And we finally have our first trailer for the mysterious Star Wars: The Acolyte.

“The Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era in a world of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers, approximately 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.”

At first glance, I’m optimistic about this because this series firmly takes us away from the Skywalker saga. Which is fantastic. What I worry about is once again, it seems we have a human centric story. Disney, you have the budget to do something amazing. Give us more bloody aliens !!!

Still, it’s early days. Hopefully, this one won’t fall flat on its face.
