Pulling off a sequel is like sticking a good superhero landing, it is something everyone tries, but not everyone can do, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse looks like a film that hits all the right spots. And I am not just saying that because the major antagonist is Spot.
“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”

The basic premise see’s Miles Morales team up with a bunch of other Spider-Men to save the multiverse. This see’s the return of the same gorgeous and intense fluid animation that gives this franchise its beautiful unique view. I think it is a safe bet to say this will be the best Marvel film of 2023.
