I was today years old when I discovered that legendary director James Gunn helped bring this iconic video game to life.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a classic hack-and-slash video game, from way back in 2012. It was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The protagonist is Juliet Starling, a cheerleader zombie hunter fighting zombies at her fictional California high school. So think Buffy with a modern and over the top twist on it.
