If you are a fan of film like Atomic Blonde, Kill Bill and The Villainess then you are going to love this one. Kate is about a world class assassin who after learning that she has only 24 hours left to live  goes on a killing spree through the streets of Tokyo. Along the way she manages to befriend the young daughter of one of her past victims.

Think Atomic Blonde meets Crank.

Kate was directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan who is mostly known for working in visual affects, though he has worked as director for a couple of big studio films. Something tells me this time he has truly been let of the leash, because Kate looks action packed and quite unique. 

The film has a pretty great cast with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Woody Harrelson, Michiel Huisman, and Tadanobu Asano.

Also the all girl Japanese Rock Band Band-Maid are set to feature, which is just amazing.

Kate is set for release on Netflix September 10th.
