Taskmaster has its root in the Edinburgh Fringe and has become quite the staple of British Television. Created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies. Taskmaster see’s, a group of five celebrities, mostly made up of comedians, complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge, and Davies judging the work and awarding points based on contestants’ performances. The show has proven so popular that it has spawned several international spin offs in countries like Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the United States, and New Zealand.

In fact it is so big that it has been entered our homes via the Taskmaster board game. The original board game of Taskmaster was released in late 2019, remember those days before Covid came into our lives. Initially proving so popular that it sold out everywhere. It contained 200 task cards, along with secret tasks that individual players must perform, and even video tasks featuring Alex Horne.

So you are probably wondering why I am talking about a game from 2019?

Well first off, the game is bloody fun and really worth checking out!

And secondly it has a brand new expansion pack that just makes all the more exciting.
