LOL World Finals Blow Us Away With Some Great Musical Performances

Paris hosted this years League Of Legends World Cup and as with last year they did not hold back on the spectacle. Blending together msuic, dance, high tech effects and of course League Of Legends each act seemed to surpass the next.

You may not know who Valerie Broussard is but she has worked with industry heavyweights such as Kygo and Galantis. It appears that her entire routine was simply there to tease the winners trophy as the dancers behind her are always surrounding it. Still it was such an epic way to make an entrance and the perfect way to kick off the ceremony.

Next up we got Phoenix by Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza. I am actually not to familar with Cailin Russo though I do know that she is the lead singer of her band RUSSO. She cites Missy Elliott, OutKast, Gorillaz, Gwen Stefani, Bill Withers, Lauryn Hill, and Stevie Wonder as influences. She has also toured with Madison Beer, who we all know was a member of KDA. As for┬áChrissy Costanza, I am very familiar with her work in Against The Current, this tiny women has a vocal range that will shock you – she is an epic talent and someone you need to keep and eye on.

Of course this was all the warm up for True Damage. True Damage are the follow up to last years well received KDA and in game lore explains this by saying that after K/DA, Akali made it her mission to recruit a new hip-hop group. That group is True Damage and in addition to her, includes Yasuo as DJ, and Ekko, Senna and Qiyana as the featured artists. The actual artists performing it are Becky G, Keke Palmer, (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon (Reprising her role asfrom KDA), Duckwrth and Thutmose.

the performance was a real treat to watch and if you get a chance you should check out the music video too.
