I am a huge fan of Chris Morris the man is brilliant, anything he does is hilarious – though sometimes very dark. In Four Lions he gave us the dark caricature of modern British terrorism which took a very sharp turn near its climax, with Brass Eye he was calling out sensational News Programs before anyone else did and it looks like The Day Shall Come will be in the same vein as those projects.

The film will follow Moses (Marchant Davis), the impoverished leader of a small religious commune in Miami. When he is offered cash to save his family from eviction he readily accepts it. Not knowing that his sponsor works for FBI (Anna Kendrick) and plans to turn him into a criminal by fueling his inane revolutionary dreams, just to look good in front of her boss. (Even if these dreams involve dinosaurs)

This film though bonkers is not so far off the truth, we do often create our own worst enemies and I guess this film is taking aiming at the world powers who arm insurgencies without worrying about the consequences. Or how our police forces are too worried about getting results instead of actually preventing real crimes, Either way I am hooked and cannot wait to see.
