I love Nic Cage and not in an ironic way, the first film I remember seeing is a Nic Cage film, two of his movies are in my all time top 10 and the guy is just awesome that is why no matter what I will see his films and honestly he always entertains. The man never phones it in, he always gives 110% to each role and most actors could learn a bit from him and his antics. So finding out that he has a new movie, well that just made my day.

Running with the Devil see’s Nic break bad, as suburban husband by day and drug lord by night. This is perfect for him, especially since he will have a chance to play with duality which he always does so well.

The plot is as follows:

“When a cocaine shipment is compromised to the dismay of a drug cartel’s CEO, known simply as The Boss, he orders his most trusted henchman, The Cook, and his partner, another master drug trafficker known as The Man, on a dangerous journey to audit the company’s supply chain. As the drugs make their perilous trek across international borders, past gangsters, refiners, and couriers, they are also being tracked by Federal Agents. When The Cook realises where the network is breaking down, it may be too late to keep the cartel satisfied.”

They have even made him dress like Brian Cranston which is a nice homage to Breaking Bad, but come on this is Nic Cage it is going to be awesome. So far we know that Running With The Devil will be released in a few cinemas stateside on 20 September, and will be available to stream on the same day. No UK release date is currently available but it should not be far behind.
