Marvel Phase 4 – Could Silk Be Next?

This is just a theory and I may be completely wrong, but I think that Silk could be a future addition to the MCU. I am guessing that right now many of you may be asking, who the hell is Silk?

Silk, AKA Cindy Moon was bitten by the same spider that would go on to bite Peter Parker. Soon after she too would develop Spider Based powers, but unlike Peter she would be taken and trained by the mysterious Ezekiel. The only issue with this was, eventually she would be abandoned and forgotten, only for Peter to find and rescue her. She would go onto not only have her own series but play a major supporting role in Peter’s. Cindy gained similar abilities to Peter Parker when she was bitten, though her spider-sense (dubbed by her as “Silk Sense”) is far stronger than Peter’s. On their first meeting, Peter observed that she was even faster than him, though not quite as strong. She also has the ability to shoot webs out of her fingertips, and she has an eidetic memory.

So how can Silk be in the MCU?

Well she has already appeared. Cindy Moon is a member of Peters Academic team in Spider-Man homecoming and on the school bus in Infinity War. She is also set to appear in a prelude comic to Far From Home, though I do not count them as 100 cannon. So I am wondering, is there a chance that the MCU could run a plot line where she survived the Snap and tried to be a hero, only to get locked up for 7 years thus appearing mid way through Phase 4 as a new hero to help spice things up.

So why would this work?

Well it would give Spider-Man a more diverse cast, add more representation into the franchise and Silk is a pretty awesome character. So fingers crossed I am right about this one…
