From the late 90’s right through to this day I have been a Prodigy fan. One of the main reasons why was because of their iconic front man Keith Flint. It is with a sad heart that I type this up because unfortunately Keith has left this world at the age of 49.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday.
“We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
I, Like so many others will have instantly loved tunes like Firestarter, Breathe, Out Of Space and No Good (Start The Dance), in fact it really wasn’t a proper night out till one of these came on. Keith was one of British musics most iconic faces and it is a really tragedy that he is gone. Unlike many others his talents where in so many genera’s and anyone who was lucky enough to see him live will know that he performed in a truly energetic faction. There truly wont be another one like him.
“At the end of the day, if people find me scary, fuck ’em.”
