I still remember when Cosplay was very fringe and only a few brave souls would bother with it. Now of course any convention worth their salt has guests arriving dressed in all manner of weird, wacky and wonderful outfits. Since its humble beginnings the UK scene has improved dramatically. Over the 15 years I have been attending these conventions I have seen a huge shift in quality of costumes and it is my opinion that now we can produce costumes that would easily rival American of Japanese entries. It was with great joy that I spent part of my weekend at MCM London Comic and got to witness all the excellent cosplay on show.
