The hardest part about learning a new skill is finding a teacher and not only that but finding a teacher that suits you. Anyone can learn a new skill or technique they just need the right guidance or incentive to achieve their desired goals. It’s in that train of thought that YogaTribes has come to existence. YogaTribes is a platform that brings together teachers, studios, students, masters and novices alike. Using YogaTribes lets you discover your local studios and what styles they use, this will let you connect with the yoga type that suits you best. For example; I am from Belfast and off the top of my head I can name 4 yoga studios so I went to YogaTribes to see if they where there and this is what I got.
Apparently I was wrong, I now know that there are 13 studios in my local area.
By clicking on one of the studios I know, I can see its location and people’s thoughts on it and get general information about it.
This is a fantastic idea for people wanting to learn the basics of yoga but are maybe a little intimidated by the idea of going to a new class. Not only that but say you where to move to a different city, then all you need to do is type in your city and watch the results flow in.
As you can see this site delivers on its promises in a very straightforward and simple way.
In their own words : YogaTribes is all about growing the yoga community one city at a time. Teachers will spend more hours teaching. Students will find classes that suit them more easily. Studios will have a new business driver. And one day, yoga will be as important as drinking water. YogaTribes brings together teachers, students, studios and newcomers to yoga who are unsure how to start. Our collaborative platform makes discovering local studios and learning about their yoga styles easier and more flexible, so that everyone can connect with the yoga lifestyle they love.
