It will be a fond farewell after 6 years when the cast and crew of Community will be at SXSW 2015 to promote the premiere of the final season on Yahoo Screen on March 17th 2015. It’s been a journey of ups and downs especially when Community got cancelled by NBC but fortunately got picked up by Yahoo or Season 6 would never have seen the light of day. It was one of those much loved shows where fans helped convince another studio to pick up a cancelled show. It’s a tough world in the TV industry where ratings play a huge part in deciding the fate of the future of a TV series.

On Sunday, March 15, the cast and creators of the hit show Community will talk about their move to Yahoo, as part of SXSW 2015 Convergence programming. They will share details on Season 6, which premieres during SXSW, and tell fans what they can expect now that TV is no longer just for TV and viewers are turning to streaming services to watch their favorite shows.
