Our favourite Comic Con party is back for its ninth year! That’s right, Fandom is once again throwing one of San Diego Comic-Con week’s biggest events.

The Fandom Party will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, July 23 from 7pm-11pm.

Attendees will be treated to a number of activations and immersive experiences kicking off with the Halo-themed play zone where fans can get hands-on with “Halo: Campaign Evolved” ahead of its official global launch on July 28. Guests will also be able to take pictures in a custom Halo-themed Photo Booth.

For those wanting to get their hands on some swag: longtime party partner Z2 Comics will be returning to offer attendees exclusive, custom-designed merchandise that celebrates the upcoming graphic novel and feature film, “…And Out Comes the Wolf.”

-196 will be on hand to offer attendees refreshing drinks and an authentic taste of Japan with their fruit forward and vibrant flavours.

And as for the musical guest: Fandom have truly outdone themselves. Partygoers will be treated to a performance by The Coverups, the cover band fronted by Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong.

The event is marked as invitation only so we’re not sure if there will be a ticket lottery in previous years but fans interested in attending should keep an eye on Fandom’s social channels for opportunities on how to score entry.
