Spring has officially begun and with that lots of new things for us nerds to watch, do, play, etc. So we’ve curated a list of what should be on your list this month.

Watch: Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come
The long awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed 2019 hit Ready Or Not is arriving in cinemas on 20th March. The first instalment gained praise for its perfect balance of gore, comedy and social commentary, and from the trailer it looks like the second chapter will be no different. Stacked with a cast of fan favourites including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Nestor Carbonell and Kevin Durand, it is sure to be a treat for all us nerds.

Read: Wolf Worm
Continuing on the horror theme, renowned author T. Kingfisher is set to release their latest book on 24th March. Wolf Worm follows a scientific illustrator that is invited to work in a North Carolina manor by the mysterious Dr. Halder. However, she soon discovers that his entomological studies have taken a dark turn that threaten her and those around her. Kingfisher is a master at suspense and storytelling so we expect big things from this book. Though, if you have an insect phobia, you may want to give this one a miss.

Play: Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug Wars
Anytime the Starship Troopers releases something new whether it be a tv series, films, comics or games, we’re here for it. The Starship Troopers universe will deliver its latest project Ultimate Bug Wars across various gaming platforms on 16th March. Players will once again be protecting the galaxy by battling the Arachnid threat. However, in an exciting first, gamers can also play in bug mode taking control of the Assassin Bug and playing on the side of the antagonists.

See: Back to the Future the musical
After 5 years, the musical version of Back to The Future is set to close in the West End on 12th April so it’s your last chance to jump in your DeLorean and experience the classic for yourselves. Full of catchy songs, talented performances, and fantastic effects (spoiler alert: seeing the DeLorean fly is worth the ticket price alone), there are still tickets left for its final month. Our tip: download TodayTix and apply for rush tickets for cheaper prices.

Listen: F.I.G by Naomi Scott
She played a pop star in iconic horror movie Smile 2 and now life is imitating art for fan favourite actress Naomi Scott who is releasing her debut album F.I.G on 20th March. Scott, who you’ll know from Terra Nova, Aladdin, Charlie’s Angels, and Power Rangers, has already performed at Lollapolooza 2025 so you know she has the vocal talent. The album will be mainly pop but with a “soulful 80s vibe” and has been produced by Lido who has worked with Ariana Grande, Halsey and Mariah Carey so it’s a safe bet to add to your playlist.

Go: Ianto’s Shrine, Cardiff
For fans of Doctor Who and Torchwood, Ianto’s Shrine in Cardiff (where the series was shot) has been a staple for nearly 20 years. Created by fans after beloved Torchwood character Ianto’s death, this quirky memorial that fans can visit and add their own tributes to has become a must see tourist attraction. Unfortunately, due to degradation of the iron and woodwork and the need for maintenance the shrine will be removed in April so it’s your last chance to see this part of Whoniverse history.

Make: Star Wars Easter Eggs
Halloween brings pumpkin carving and Easter brings egg painting. Celebrate the Easter season by getting crafty and making your own nerdy Easter eggs. It doesn’t have to be Star Wars themed, there are plenty of other franchises you can pull inspiration from for your eggs including Mario, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. For Star Wars eggs, we’ve included a handy guide here.

Stream: Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat
March seems to be the month of returning series on streaming platforms with shows like Daredevil: Born Again, For All Mankind, Invincible, and One Piece all set to be released. However, the show we’re most exited to see return is Jury Duty which will arrive on Amazon Prime on 20th March. The first season which followed Ronald Gladden, who is summoned for jury duty but unaware that everyone in the courtroom aside from him is an actor, was a surprise hit with its perfect balance of comedy and heart earning Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. It even won a Peabody Award. Audiences were desperate for a second season but questioned how it could be made now that the show is so famous. However, the series has managed it by moving the action to a company retreat and having a new unsuspecting lead in Anthony, a temp for the fake company. A great feel good show, it will be interesting to see what season 2 brings.
