This is a character I never thought I’d see in live action, but I guess the MCU is going to go for it.

First off if you are unfamiliar with MODOK let me fill you in. MODOK (also written as M.O.D.O.K.; an acronym for Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing) was formerly George Tarleton, an employee of Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). There they altered him heavily to transform him into their ultimate tool of destruction.

Over the years he has appeared in multiple video games and TV shows. Of course his original Disney + series is the standout, but I never thought we would get to see him in live action. Yet with this new merch drop it looks like I have been proven wrong.

I’m not sure how I feel about this new design. It does look more “realistic” and less monstrous, but do we really want that?

I’m guessing the new MODOK is some sort of robot servant to Kang. It may not be perfect but this could be the first step to seeing a true proper version of this iconic character.
