I have been waiting a long time for this series. In fact I can tell you that it has been 15 years of waiting, I know this because I bought Volume of this series back in 2006 so yes I have been waiting a long time. Y: The Last Man is a series set in a world where a virus wipes all the living mammals with a Y chromosome, this is including embryos and sperm, simultaneously. The only exceptions are Yorick Brown and his Capuchin monkey, Ampersand.

This series has been a long time in the making and the trailer looks like it will not be one to disappoint. If it is anything like the book it is going to be a globe trotting adventure that will see what a world without men looks like.

The casting looks pretty good with Ben Schnetzer, Diana Bang, Olivia Thirlby and the always great Diane Lane I do not see how this one could fail.
