The team behind Dublin Comic Con have taken the responsible stance and decided to cancel this years show. In a tweet they had this to say:
Dublin Comic Con are deeply disappointed to confirm that March’s Spring Edition won’t be going ahead as planned. After much discussion with the venue, guests, our team and looking at the vaccination plan and the current climate, it isn’t feasible to go ahead. The health and safety of our visitors, guests, venue staff and of course our team is the most important thing.
However, it does mean we now have more time to make sure that we’ll be able to welcome everyone back with a bang for August’s Summer Edition and tickets are now on sale!
Thank you to everyone for the ongoing support. It hasn’t been an easy year but hopefully the end is now in sight.
Stay safe and we’ll see you all in August.
It must have been a hard decision but in the end this was the right decision.
