Through the incredibly turbulent production of this film it became a long running joke that it would never be released and after watching the latest trailer I am happy to say I was wrong. 

Now it is only a trailer so first impressions can always be wrong but the trailer does show promise. It looks like a much darker take on the X-Men franchise one that sadly could have rehabilitated the films but all that is to little to late. Still maybe this film will be a beautiful way to end a series of movies that have had their ups and downs.
