I am one of those weirdos who is kind of hoping for the end of days, to be fair I am someone who is a miserable asshole and just wants to be away from most people. This is why shows like Dyabreak is the kind of series that just speaks to me – it follows the story of “17-year-old high school loser, Josh, who is searching for his missing girlfriend Sam. To make this all the better he is trying to find her in Glendale – which is somewhere I just adore.

Along the way he forms his own ragtag group including a pyromaniac 12-year-old Angelica and Josh’s former high school bully Wesley, now turned pacifist samurai, Josh tries to stay alive amongst the horde of Mad Max-style gangs (evil jocks, cheerleaders turned Amazon warriors), zombie-like creatures called Ghoulies, and everything else this fucked up world throws at him, you know just your normal average day for a teenage loser.

The series is based on the comic by Brian Ralph and looks a lot of fun. I think coming into winder 2019 this will be a series that many of us will be needing, especially with it’s violence and silliness. I for one will be watching this one.
