Another sad day for us all here, with the passing of Rutger Hauer the world has lost another fantastic actor. The Dutch actor has died peacefully at the age of 75.

He is best known for his now iconic role as Harrison Ford’s rival Roy Batty in “Blade Runner,” though his career is far more extensive than that. You could easily recognize the actor in films such as Sin City and Batman Begins. So many people who worked with him had a lot of good to say in his honor with British producer and author Jonathan Sothcott described him as “as one of cinema’s finest villains” who “made rubbish watchable”.

Rutger Hauer will be missed.
