The Frozen Musical Trailer Reveals Alot

For all those parents who thought that the Frozen train was slowing down in preparation for the new film, you where so wrong, you where oh so very wrong. The trailer for the live stage version of Frozen has finally been released and all things considering they have done an amazing job. One of the best decisions made in this production was casting Cassie Levy as Elsa, she is known to have played Maureen in Rent and Elphaba in Wicked, both roles originally made famous by Idina Menzel, who you will all know as the voice of Elsa in the original film.

In making this monster of a hit into a musical the production team went back to Frozen‘s original songwriting team, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and got them to create twelve brand new songs to help pad out the run time and make it into a proper musical.

Throughout the trailer we see a scene between Anna and Kristoff, where they perform “What Do You Know About Love?

Elsa’s coronation, where her inner shows her deepest fears and desires.

And where Elsa must fend off angry villagers in Monster.

What has everyone talking is that we finally get to see how Olaf and Kristoff’s reindeer both look.

And of course everyone has been blown away by how they are portraying Elsa’s powers, which for a stage show is pretty awesome.

Honesty I am not a Frozen fan but even I can admit there has been a lot of fantastic work has gone into this show and it truly looks like it will be worth seeing to both fans and non fans of the original film.power.png
