It is with great sadness that I am to tell you that Dolores O’Riordan passed away this morning aged 46. Of course many of you will know her as the Singer from the Cranberries.

A statement from her publicist said: “The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time.

Currently there are no further details and at this time her family have understandably requested privacy.
