I did not know that this was even in the works but I am very excited…
If you are not familiar with this musical it is a very personal tale of loss and how it affects us all differently, with its origins lying in an incident that took place during the high school years of one of the its key writers. The musical looks at the notion of a teenager, Evan Hansen, who invents an important role for himself in a tragedy that he did not earn.
With Ben Platt reprising his role from the original musical and both Amy Adams and Julian Moore joining the cast this looks like a film that I need to see. If you have not heard of this one but are a sucker for musicals or are just someone who has ever felt left out this is the show for you. With great tracks like “You Will Be Found” it really will hot you right in the feels.
My favorite musical, but I don’t know if I want to see this. Musicals made into movies are often disappointing. That said, if that’s Colton Ryan as Connor I’d be interested to see how he does. And I notice they’ve made Ben look a lot younger.

True they can be absolutely often are but I look at it as a way to spread the word to more people
