Could Netflix finally be heading to San Diego Comic-Con International?

Well like many others we thought Netflix would never go to San Diego Comic-Con International but it looks like we could all be proven wrong with news circulating on social media that Netflix is bringing Luke Cage to San Diego Comic-Con International next month.

According to an exclusive from Deadline Mike Colter will be joined by co-star Alfre Woodard as well as showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker to show exclusive footage from Luke Cage at San Diego Comic-Con International. It doesn’t look like we will get an early screening of the pilot episode but at least we will have a Luke Cage panel with some exclusive footage. Whether or not the other Marvel and Netflix series including Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Iron Fist will be there is another matter since Netflix allowing Luke Cage cast and crew to be at SDCC could be a one off to promote the series premiere in September.

Although there is a possibility Jessica Jones could be there since Krysten Ritter confirmed back in February this year that she would be at San Diego Comic-Con International 2016. In the interview with she said:

Ritter: I’ve never done anything in this genre before, so it’s been completely life-changing. And I’ve never been to Comic-Con before. This is a whole new ballgame for me. The fans, they love you. Just wait until the day you get out to San Diego Comic-Con.

Ritter: Yeah, I’ll be going this year. Oh, that’s an experience.

Ritter: Yeah, I can’t wait.
