A Very Abbott Block Party SDCC 2025 Review

ABC/Disney are no stranger to delivering great offsites for their shows. Last year, a fan favourite was the Abbott Elementary offsite – “AvaFest”. This year they decided to give Comic Con attendees a sequel in the form of “A Very Abbott Block Party”.

Right at the entrance to the activation was a statue display of all the characters which made the perfect photo op. Another photo op with a unique twist was at the Abbott Community Wall where fans could pose and be turned into caricatures.

For the thrill-seekers, there was a huge ferris wheel offering stunning views of San Diego.

For those wanting a more relaxed experience and looking for a chance to cool off, the offsite offered flavoured shaved ice. We sampled the passion fruit and it was delicious.

Last year, the Abbott offsite was known for their amazing swag and this year was no different. Fans were encouraged to report to the “Lost and Found” where they could design and personalise their own bag or bucket hat.

Additionally, if fans completed all activities within the offsite, they were led to another booth which gave an incredibly designed set of character pins. Unfortunately, these were in short supply and quickly ran out.

Short supply of swag and long queues did dampen some fan spirits but once guests were inside, the experience made up for it, proving once again that Abbott offsites are well designed, highly enjoyable and incredibly successful for Disney and ABC.

Abbott Elementary season 5 is set to premiere on October 1st on ABC.
